Haha, I'd totally forgotten about all the complaints I had earlier in this thread. Yeah, Jericho certainly had it's share of flaws. Nevertheless, I have vaguely fond memories of it. :) Especially playing as the samuraichick. Her weapons and powers were really badass, even feeling slightly overpowered compared to some of the other characters.

this thread makes me want to go replay it again. I've have a newer videocard now, I wonder if getting it to work in Surround would be difficult. When it boils down. It's the shooting that kept me coming back.

I clicked on this thread still thinking it was Call of Juarez.

Despite being a post-Halo game and having supernatural elements, it's still a Tactical FPS. Games in that genre rarely have jump for obvious reasons (eg soldiers don't bunnyhop around), mantling is usually used instead.

I got it because Clive Barker wrote the story. The story and athmosphere aren't bad at all but the gameplay is unfortunately.
But the story was good enough for me to ignore the flaws so i guess the game was ok. :)

The one thing that could have used a bit more work than anything else I think is the team AI. Nice game though, would love to see another Clive B game.

I had a hell of a time with this game. It is a bit complicated and difficult. I don't play many RTS games, and this one reminded me of those. Remembering who has what ability, switching around characters and powers in the midst of a frantic battle was just too much for me. Shame, I'd love to see a sequel that wasn't just pushed out the door.

... aaaaand I'm officially fed up with this game for the time being. Must've run into a bug or something, after reaching the level in the Roman baths and being caught in a continuous firefight in one spot that - no word of a lie - went on nonstop for a bare minimum of THREE HOURS!!! Finally abandoned it when I realised I had to get some sleep.
I looked up a few walkthroughs and they do mention that bit is a long a repetitve fight, but somehow I doubt that's what they meant...

Heh, yeah that doesn't sound right. :erg:
