I'm playing through Thief 1 (not gold) and the movies that play have about a half second jitter every five to seven seconds I've tried to clean the CD and uninstall Darkloader 4.2 but neither seemed to help. Any ideas?
Edit: I explored the CD and played the movies through media player with the same result. Could this be a cedec problem then? I did have Thief 3 installed previous to T1, could it have installed updated codecs that messed with the movie playback from the previous games?
Edit2: Darn TTLG site wouldn't save my edit. Anyway sorry for the stupidness it's summer and my brain is all but shutdown. Anyway, here's my specs AMD Athlon 2200 Geforce ti 4200 512 ram 57 gb hdd space 26 gb free space 50x Max LG disc drive.

Seriously, post some info my man.
Based upon your edit1 - try copying some movie files from the CD to your harddrive and see if the results are the same. Maybe its your CD drive? You will hopefully get better answers now with your update.

Well I mean the site I tried to save my edit changes and it just hung there and all.
You were right it was just the CD drive. It's odd though, it never happened before when I used that drive. Ah well, i've always got another one. Thanks for your help.
