BUG: I killed greene in the underworld bar, but when I came back from hong kong, Filben said you should kill him in the clinic. I went there and ther he was being a pain in the @$$ as usual.

Looks like Greene has some powers we never imagined....

Side note: If you kill everyone in the bar, when you head back to speak with Manderley, he says something along the lines of "I don't even want to know what happened in the bar...I'll cover it up, but don't let anything like that happen again". Heh.

Hey, just looking through some old posts, came across this one and remembered a question I was pondering back in New York...
Is Joe Greene really a spy? Or is that just another lie... I never killed him because I couldn't believe that he was actually a spy! Of course, I also wanted to kill Paul for warning all those MJ12 troops about me and not telling them to just _capture_ me. <IMG SRC="devil.gif" border="0">

If everyone is dead, Vinnie still shows up, and with some rather amusing lines.

"Hey someone killed the bartender, DRINKS ARE FREE!" - Vinny

SPOILERS WITHIN
(But this is the spoiler section, right?)
Yes, Joe Greene is really a spy. If you talk to him too long, after having been told (in a book at UNATCO) never to talk to the press, you will hear about it from Manderley. Now, who do you think told Manderley? Manderley is not always tuned in to your infolink, and Alex would not rat you out. You can actually go back and accuse Joe Greene of telling Manderley, and he denies it, but the conversation does make it clear that Joe Greene is out there checking up on the obedience and loyalty of UNATCO agents such as yourself.
Ditto Jordan Shea. Her UNATCO connection shoud be pretty obvious - she's not just fitted out with "heavy augmentation" she's an out-and-out mech. Also, if you talk long enough with Sally the subway hooker she'll tell you that the girl mech in the bar (Jordan) helps the cops a lot.
However, I think Jordan has a soft spot for you and Paul, which is why in the end she warns you about the raid.
-----------
"This one's some kind of mech..."

If you talk with Filben long enough, he'll also provide additional evidence that Greene is really a spy.

I
doubt that Joe Greene is really a spy. I have found some very interesting facts that could be in relation to the moral dilemma the player gets in when instructed by Filben to kill Greene:
Provided you have talked to Vinny in New York before going to the Brooklyn Naval Shipyards, the soldiers there are very friendly-minded to you.
One of the soldiers talks to you, and after the main conversation has ended, he has some more things to say:
Quote:
...
Be careful in there.
The standing orders inside the perimeter are "shoot on sight".
We're supposed to be on red-alert. They even told us to watch the crane so that no one tries to jump the deck.
Good luck.
FEMA made a big mistake if they think we follow orders blindly.
Just because you have a uniform on, it doesn't mean you don't know how to think for yourself.
When we find out what the government's doing, we're going to tell our friend Joe Greene at the Midnight Sun.As far as we're concerned, you were never here.
...
(I have marked the relevant parts as bold text.)
Besides, the photograph of Greene talking to these men-in-black that Filben gives you really doesn't prove anything.
Even more interesting,
you get no skill points for fulfilling the goal if you kill Joe Greene!
Considering all that, I think that you're supposed to feel guilty if you kill Joe Greene and then talk to that soldier telling you
"just because you have a uniform on, it doesn't mean you don't know how to think for yourself".
