Last time we had a thread on climate change it resulted in most of the forum charging at the one "climate change denier" with pitchforks at the ready, and said "denier" eventually getting banned after talking shit to an admin's wife.

To be fair, Fragony never, ever, ever backed down from an argument, no matter how patently wrong he was. Ever. I remember he started a fight with me over a catastrophic misreading of House of Leaves where I had just finished reading the book and he's basically sitting there going "nope nuh uh."
On the one hand, I'm so glad GBM banned him. On the other hand, I wish GBM hadn't banned me for a month so I could've enjoyed Fragony's unceremonial booting.
