Colour me intrigued:
(

This bit, especially, sounds juicy:
"Thomas has plans to start up a two-person independent game studio with an unrevealed partner, and work on a project that draws upon immersive simulation games such as Thief. The former creative director did not share specific details about his immediate plans."Any thoughts on possible partners?

You're right, that should be pretty interesting (your thread title less so, though, I'm afraid to say).
I think JT should just make the game that the initial XCOM FPS trailer promised...

Take that, EM. Nice to hear this type of attitude. Whatever he's making, I'm looking forward to it.

This is potentially very, very interesting. Interesting chap and the fact that he's going indie, which means he should have freedom to do something left field and awesome.

The man responsible for the best levels of Thief: Deadly Shadows and Bioshock 1 goes Indie? Definite potential for excellence, here.

Warren Spector was recently laid by Disney.

Take that, EM.
Well now I've got some
Advice for you, little buddy.
Before you point your finger
You should know that
I'm the man,
And if I'm the man,
Then you're the man, and
He's the man as well so you can
Point that fuckin' finger up your ass.
All you know about me is what I've sold you,
Dumb fuck.
I sold out long before you ever even heard my name.
I sold my soul to make a record,
Dip shit,
And then you bought one.

Nice one, Eva.

I don't imagine Warren Spector has all that much to offer a two man development team.
Looking forward to more news about this, but I imagine we won't hear anything for a while.

I was thinking Randy Smith, now that would rule. Pardon me, I seem to be getting a chub...
(not surprised that Eva's favorite band is TOOL).
