CTRL is always jump for me. But I still use the arrow keys--never got used to WASD.

I'm going to echo Dethtoll...
but at the same time Jericho has no jump function. It didn't need one. The game's story and colour pallette might have sucked but the action in it was awesome (albeit repetitive) and the lack of ability to jump just made the game.... better.. imho. There was no need for it, and honestly I never see commando... jumping.. on battlefield. Unless of course Its over something or down into something.
..... errm.
k.. yeah .. What?!

Come on guys, nobody jumps in games anymore. The first thing I do when I start up a new game is unbind the jump key and bind space to turn left.

This actually made me wonder in which direction the player turns more in videogames.

Valve is probably keeping track of that somewhere.

Well given a choice between turning left or right where neither path offers an immediate risk or reward visible from the intersection I would theorize the player will usually either turn in the direction that they are handed in (as a rightie I would turn right), or depending on the situation, whichever direction is mentally "closer" to them, which could mean they're either a few feet closer to the left path than they are to the right, or say one path seems to turn a corner/do something interesting sooner than the other.
Of course if you know the map this is all moot as you're probably going to go one direction or another depending on your knowledge of the situation.

Spacebar is always for jumping, c is for crouching. e or f are for using, and tab is the map key. Only idiots bind functions to left control.
RMB is only the jump key if I'm bunnyhopping in Quake.
As for going left or right, in Daggerfall hugging the right wall was the rule for getting around in those massive dungeons.

Well when you're talking mazes, hugging the right wall is pretty much the guaranteed method of finding the exit.
