Yeah, I know I'm not original, but my main question is:
What happened with the Shalebridge Cradle after Garrett left. Keep in mind the Final Glyph, but I was just interested in your opinions...

My guess is that it would have eventually experienced the same fate as the "haunted" portion of the Old Quarter. That is, it would have gotten razed and the land "reclaimed".
I wonder how they managed to make the Old Quarter habitable again anyway...

I think that eventually the Hammerite Inspector Drept and the rest of the Hammerite Order wanted to reclaim the Old Cathedral again, kill off all the zombies, and just destroy every living resident in the Cradle. I would be very interested to know how the Hammerites would respond to such a place...

The question is though, whether or not they did manage to "reclaim" the Old Quarter. As far as we know, the part of OQ we saw in DS was the only part that hadn't been infected, and thus was outside the walled portion. DS is happily vague about this. It doesn't even mention the Old Quarter being retaken and rebuilt, or the wall coming down, but it doesn't mention how much, if any of the Old Quarter survived the disaster.
