242, I love all the things that TDS did right, and being on TDM team and seeing the desicions we are making as a group, I can assure you TDM is in good hands.

However, slipping around foolishly on oil or choking on moss takes things into the realm of slapstick
New from TDM, the "pants fall down" arrow.

And the "Pie" arrow.
Speaking of slapstick, I read somewhere there is a "Benny Hinn" mod for Thief 2, where everyone is in fast forward and the Yakety Sax music is playing - must be funny during a chase.

That would be Hill, not Hinn.

Yeah, there you go - HILL, not Hinn. The guy that was not the short guy, from "the Two Ronnies"
Well he was before my time. I never understood that everytime someone (like "The Goodies") had a fast forward scene with the sax music playing, they were tributing his comedy show. I only learned that in later years.

You know what's dumb? Even using the expression "arrow combos". Makes TDS sound like a button-mashing fighting game.
I thought the same when I read that term. And I still don't know what is even meant by it. :)

I personally don't see how the oil flasks and choking moss arrows are too cheesey and noise arrows, holy water arrows, slow-fall, speed potions etc. are not. Is it objective attitude to TDS items?
Of course it is NOT objective. After all, we got together and make our game in the vision WE like it. Therefore it will alyways be subjective. Why should we make a clinical objective game, that we don't like afterwards? You don't spend several years of your live, working on something, that you wont even like, and you already know it when you start.

This means that using one arrow on the effect of another enhanses that effect. The example given in this thread is the moss from the moss arrow being watered by the water arrow and spreading.

Yes, that was not the right term perhaps.
Those "combos" are: moss a.+water a., oil + fire a. More interactivety.
