I would like to know how anyone got the gem down in that little alcove area in the treebeast area. I finally gave up because I couldn't jump back up again and could not get balanced on the slanted tree to get to the vine arrow. What a workout!!!!
I got up there from the uppermost vine. Leapt to the darkest place I could, then hid in that steep sloped area where my rope arrow was from before. Took the arrow, then when the treebeast had calmed down, I shot it into the gravel texture. It gave me enough leverage to mantle out. Then sneak up behind the treebeast and backstab once to kill him off. Scoop up all the nuggets, get back my rope arrow, then leap back out onto the uppermost vine.
Now, I'm here:
I went down the rocks to the area with the puddle and the frogbeast and got the water arrow. Now I've run down the channel from there to be confronted by TWO more frogbeats and me without a broadhead to my name! Eek!
I hope I can get through this stuff and on to the city part of the mission :p
EDIT - bassmanret:
I'm stuck in this room with the two frogbeasts. I nipped up the nugget and climbed to the highest rock, but I just can't get run and jump enough to get a mantle going on the upper doorway. Did I come in from the wrong side?
Playing on "Anal" :)
Cheers!

Melissa,
You're doing fine! Just keep going! It may seem like you've reached an impasse, but you're right on track. After getting the nugget, just jump onto the boulder to the exit. It can really be done! Jump onto the small boulder, then mantle up. After this, it's easy..... well, almost...lol.
You Da' WO ...Man!!!

I started the mission earlier but didn't have enough time to do all of it but so far it's great! I love the caves, though I think it's a tiny bit too hard in a few spots and I really, really like the ways of getting around through town, on rooftops, through windows, etc. I'm looking forward to finishing it tomorrow! Thanks!

For anybody that's interested in saving themselves the stomach-churning aggravation of those goddamn jumping rocks…
…it’s possible to nail the tree limb with your rope arrow far out enough to catch the vines immediately from the very first opening, retrieve the rope arrow (which will be essential later) and duck out of the shaft that leads directly to town.
Of course, you will miss a not-insubstantial amount of loot this way, but what good is gold if you end up beating your head to pulp on your desk in frustration?

i need a couple keys tho :
the key to the door on the right in the Home's residence, the key to the doctors bedroom, and the key to the Van somethings two rooms up top. i got in the middle room by jumping from a window across the way but the doors on the sides are locked. i managed to get in the door on the left by doing the same but dunno how to get on the door on the right
by the way, did anyone frob the fish in the fishmongers? :laff: :laff: :laff:
great stuff, did you do the voice acting yourself, bassmanret?

Excellent mission; my thanks to the creator.
That's a great hideout for Garrett, incidentally. No one but Mario could possibly reach him.
What's the deal with the statue on top of the white building in the southern part of the city?
I bumped into it inadvertantly and it sort of ... floated away.
Shadowwolf421:
If you mean
the Horne bedroom, just search the downstairs living room a little more, and you'll find it. The key to the Doctor's house can be found if you search his kitchen very carefully. Also, you can find the key to the 'Vlad Chulentz' house (say that fast and you'll understand his problem), if you look carefully in his living room....(think ...trophy)...
...and yes... I'm sorry to say that I did the Billy Bass song.... my apologies... (flashbacks to that Cheech and Chong movie with PeeWee Herman... "I'm SORRY!! ... I'M SOOORRY!!!!... I'M SOOO SOORRY!...I'M AWFULLY SORRY!")
Little_Dragon: That white building is supposed to be a bank, but I don't know why that statue 'floated away'....hmmm... weird!

Ok, lets break some ice here...
QUESTION:
I have a genetic engineered cucumber and a huge fan and am on my last wit as of what to do with these items to get the gasing husband and his wife happy again.
I mean there isn't anywhere to set the fan in their house and i think i woke them up now so slipping the cucumber into anyones hand is prolly out of the question.
muha
hmm...

The billy bass fish was a menacing trophy, nice touch.
reminded me of that funny advertisement of the talking trophy bass and something else they came up with later on?.
Do you remember Mrs. Horne's dilemma? She needs ...to put it nicely.... some way to acheive satisfaction. Have you read anything about the cucumbers in town? This 'genetically enhanced cucumber' might have special properties Mrs. Horne would enjoy. Let me know if you need more of a hint.
As to the fan... Do you remember Mrs. Chulentz problem? Where might you put the fan in order to ventilate her bedroom? Where might a fan be positioned in order to direct air out of the bedroom? Again, let me know if you need more...
Have fun!
