An insightful writeup. Thank you! :D
(And I also just realised there are two more floors to the Necromancer's tower I didn't even know about. Wow. And I have played the level a zillion times. :wot:)

Glad you're enjoying it. :)
Unfortunately the scale of Life of the Party is making this latest installment take longer than I'd planned. I'm going to add a little something extra to the end as a bonus because of that (A similarly styled, but much shorter, overview of each level of Thief II).
I've already done a series of posts on Liberty Island from Deus Ex, and Pauper's Drop from BioShock 2. In the future I intend to look at Robbing the Cradle and possibly something from System Shock 2.

Life of the Party with no fog ... why?
Good read, though.

Life of the Party with
no fog ... why?
'cause almost nobody knows that both the mission and the renderer have been fixed.just as barely anyone knows about t2water,t2skies,EP and a ton of other great stuff.why? because all (ok,make it most of) that good stuff is just scattered around the forum-no stickies,no updated faqs,no big frontpages with screenshots and videos at ttlg.com screaming "hey, look at all the beautiful things we have here, with this, your thief/shock experience will be greater than ever before"..
seriously,(
http://www.ttlg.com/) ttlg.com could use a total overhaul.

I'm running Thief 2 with DDFix, the fog works but the sky is bright orange. If there's a fix I'd appreciate it. I searched but it was difficult to ascertain what would and wouldn't fix the problem.

Justin, I'm excited to see you're on TTLG. So I have a chance to thank you in person for your absolutely wonderful blog, and for the recent comment at Gamasutra regarding the Thief games. Exciting read, and I hope Eidos Montreal pays attention to that. Though I doubt it, as usual.

Thanks a lot. I know at least one Thief 4 developer has read that Gamasutra article and some of my other work, I don't know what his exact views on it any of it are though.
