Good stuff. Thanks Clearing and unless I'm wrong Crash T is a pseudonym for Justin. If I be wrong I'll apologize to Justin in advance.
Whomever it be, good work. If anyone can't follow this narrative they are the dumbest thief in The City.
I await the final installment with high expectation.

Could you explain how to do that? Do I need to manually edit the .exe, as I can't get the GUI version of DDFix to recognise the demo executable.
Cheers.
Yeah, you have to do a manual install. The method is the same as with the full game, you have to hex-edit the exe file and replace the first mention of ddraw.ddl with ddfix.dll.

The fact that someone would make the effort to produce such massive volumes of text about Thief, yet not bother adequately proofreading or educating themselves about how the engine actually works, is frankly mind-boggling to me.

I've missed you, it's been a while.
So, you want to add constructive criticism or are you going to stick to form and keep your Statler and Waldorf routine?

I made two constructive suggestions, actually. Not surprised you didn't notice.

Part of what sets Thief apart from other games is the use of what you call logical space. I only realized Thief has it after Khad going "there's nothing in this room! why would the developers make this room if there wasn't any purpose to it?".
