But... he's... black... WTF
In Holywood buddy movies one guy has to be white and grouchy and the other has to be black and streetwise.

So K & L 2 is out for Steam.....no reviews yet.....heh.....remembering the whole GameSpot issue over the 1st game.
Hope this one's a sure-fire winner.

Any comments yet?

I played the demo, on 360, and it was very realistic looking. The gameplay was the same cover-mechanic fueled third person shootering we've seen in a million other games by now tho. Not that that's really a bad thing.

Realistic looking? But it's played through a CCTV filter with a dash of shaky cam for good measure.
I played the demo. I'm not impressed. Beyond the aesthetic, it's a cookie-cutter third-person cover-based shooter with guns that feel great but has you facing off mediocre-to-dogshit AI. I hope the story amounts to something.

That just added to the realism.

Realism is a stylistic choice here rather than a thing in itself. The shakey-cam look gives the game a veneer of documentary realism, but it's as far from actual reality as many other stylistic choices. We've just come to feel that reality has that digital, shaky look.
