Has anyone watched the movie Capote, starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Truman Capote? I think that the main character sounds a lot like Karras. I hope that also doesn't mean that Karras is...well, you know, strange. I mean, he does have that little golden man hanging around all the time. Also, the name Truart; it sounds similar to Truman. Perhaps someone on the development staff was a big fan.

Heh. Who really knows? Karras' voice is most often compared to the cartoon dog, Droopy.

But your idea's a new one on me. There are some other threads about the historical significance of the Golden Child, and what the LGS people must have been fans of based on various concepts of the games.
