I was always disappointed i didn't get to kill Karras myself. Instead they just did the cut scene death and we only got to see his physical character through the window . I thought the series was going to be like some movies where the arch villain escapes death and he would show up in the next version of Thief. I know there were some Karras FM's that were made but has one been made where Garrett gets to kill Karras himself ? The Karras that Garrett see's through the window ? That skin of him if you will.

It was a vague reference to the rust gas at the end.
I was think though i wonder if the looking glass people where Buck Rogers fans because Karras looks like Hawk on Buck Rogers in the 21st Century TV show and the Golden Child looks like twiki or his golden coloured girl friend in one episode

I guess I'll have to stop sprinkling paprika on my guacamole.

Karras escapes the gas and then flees via submarine to south Atlantic tropical island:
- Twilight setting
- Tropical Island with a volcano
- Ape beasts would be the only guards that would work
- got to have a Tiki bar on the beach with Tiki torches and fruity drinks
- girls would have bikini clothing
- Palm trees
- Ocean sounds at the beach
- Giant bamboo Mansion for Karras
I think it would be a really relaxing FM experience, and of course, actually get to kill Karras at the end instead of just watching it on a cut scene

The ending of T2 as it is is quite alright in my opinion: Karras is basically getting killed by his own devices - with a little help of Garrett, of course.
This is actually also very similar to some arch villains in pop culture (Dr. No in the first James Bond movie comes to mind: Bond doesn't directly kill him either).

I find it very appropriate that a villain gets killed indirectly from results of Garrett's actions rather than him being direct, like sneak in from the shadows to mess his plans up and leave quietly where once Karras notice something is wrong its far too late, although wasn't very stealth centric the last mission from how Karras noticed his presence the second it started but by design as likely intended at least Karras got to know who was messing his plan up, like one of those "Shit Garrett got me after all" moment, I found it very satisfying but it would certainly be fun to see a fan fictional outcome of the ending, should someone do it. :)
