Chemical Properties:
The gas is a red vapour that consumes anything organic it touches; the reaction produces inert powder, resembling rust and additional gas (suggesting that it is an organically derived compound). Although it quickly breaks down when exposed to atmospheric conditions, the self-propagating reaction can be sustained until the organic material is depleted. The degraded "safe" form appears as a very dense fog of darker red which settles on the ground. The degraded "safe" form appears as a very dense fog of darker red which settles on the ground.
I don't agree with you. The inert powder is the rust gas after it does it's job. It doesn't say what the organic looks like.
Edit: I was reading it wrong. You are correct ZylonBane. I misunderstood what it said. Sometimes i have too read things several times before i understand what I'm reading. I didn't understand what the Reaction meant when i first read it
Reaction
Necrotic Mutox + organic matter --> simil-rust material + Necrotic Mutox

ZylonBane getting worked over and trying to unnecessarily overthink this TBH
As for the topic itself, i'm actually alright with the course of events in the ending of Thief 2, as in i'd rather have Karras killed indirectly than let Garrett do it with his own hands. If anything, the depiction of stuff in said cutscene was kinda disappointing for me, and felt quite inconclusive for some reason. Still, it didn't really matter much because the game was absolutely great otherwise.
PS. I doubt Karras would be content with the prospect of having to inhabit a Bamboo-made mansion lmao

I've never heard of anyone putting paprika on their guacamole. Now chili powder I might believe, though.

Yandros, has any dromed people ever been in the room where Karras physical presence resides ? I know all evil villains seem to have a back up plan of escape. There are reports even Mark Zuckerberg has a panic chute. I just wonder if they installed something for Karras to escape thinking they would do the next thief 3. Could be some chili powder on the floor in there.

I don't think there are any exits from the room he's in, but I haven't looked in years.
