Does anyone have any information about the Keeper Enforcers that isn't obvious in the game (EX - that they try to find and kill Garrett)? I know someone is making a Thief Encyclapedia(sp), which is an excelent idea. I just think the Enforcers are really cool and I'd like to know more about them.

:o
Sorry. Like so many Thief projects, the encyclopedia is indefinitely delayed. All my workfiles are on a harddrive in storage. That computer doesn't have a CD-burner or a port for a mem-stick, so I was forced to make backups on floppies. Carrying my backup floppies through the RFID readers at the local library where I'm doing all of my computer work corrupts my files. :tsktsk:
I fully intend to finish it, even just for myself, but intent and actuality are too often separated.:erg:

Aww, I'm very sorry to hear that. I was really looking forward to finding out all sorts of things that aren't made obvious in the game:(

Actually thats an interesting question. For a group like the Keepers who claim to have so little involvment with 'interfering' in the city's balance, the Enforcers seem like an odd thing to have.
Also, I don't think it was explained why Garrett could hear them when they spoke to each other telepathically. (not that they were hugely understandable, mind you)

If that is so, how's anyone supposed to know about them? How can they write about such things if they're not spoken about in the games?

Remember, she didn't ask for unknown things, she asked for things that aren't obvious.

*she*;) But exactly. I don't visit 100% of the areas in each mission, so no doubt I miss some writtings. Plus people talk all the time about stuff in Thief I have no idea about. Plus (again) I don't know if they were ever referred to in the two earlier Thief games, since I never got a chance to finish them before I got a new computer (I'm on THC now, though!).
I've wondered about that too, Elentari. Maybe it's like in Animorphs (if anyone's ever read those books) where telepathy can either be spoken 'aloud' or sent to individuals. In that case, everyone would be able to hear the Enforcers. You'd think the Enforcers wouldn't want Garrett to hear them, or maybe they're just trying to make him nervous, lol. Garrett mentions them not knowing he can hear them, but who's to say he's always right;)

*she*;)
Oops... I've had that done to me often enough, and now I've done it to someone else :tsktsk:

As far as telepathy, I figured G's exposure to glyphs and his glyph power(s) allowed him to hear them since the glyphs are what caused their telepathy in the first place.

That makes sense.

Well, there was really no way you would have known;)
The only other thing I really know about the Enforcers is what's mentioned when loading levels and whatnot and/or what's written in the Keeper Library. About how once they are made Enforcers they'll be that way forever, and how their names are written down and must never be spoken. The Enforcers are really something of a mystery, and it'd be neat if more research could properly be done on them. Maybe that's something for me to do;)
