Today I learned how to use the DromEd Fly-mode...
And the first mission where I tried it was "The Insurrection".
And in the first mission, where I tried it, the FM author (frobber) had also the idea someone would try this. :cheeky:
Sometimes I've a strange luck... see picture.

After a few seconds I read it, the game crashed. My comment: True, true... :P

OK, that was sad seeing a thread started by (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1292033#post1292033) Footpad return to the top of the list, so near the anniversary of his death.
Back on topic, I found SethAC's discovery interesting. Why did TTLG warn me that his picture's web site is the same as his TTLG ID, before it would let me see the picture? :weird:

not cool!
I just read a letter by a charming and intelligent girl, and 5 seconds later you have killed her off! :(
but wait jus a min here! - i see a voice credit for her - HUH?
Oh yeah,i have got to tell ya, what with that music in the intro, and what the intro's text had to say, and then the letter from Alisha and her getting killed.
You paint a mighty depressing picture of Garrett, that's for sure! :erg:

You ain't seen nothin' yet!;)
To finally find out what Alisha's destiny is, you will have to play the whole series from beginning to end, really!
That's not a joke. Continue playing and wait while the story unfolds...

At least now i see why there's a voice credit for her!
NICE voice! :cheeky:

It would help to know your computer specs but your problem can probably be fixed by changing one of the settings in cam_ext.cfg. This file is in your Thief2 folder. I suggest saving that file first under a different name so that you have that as a backup. For example, cam_ext_original.cfg. Then open cam_ext.cfg and take a look at the posts starting (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131106&p=2157766&viewfull=1#post2157766) here in the Tafferpatcher thread. Which setting to change will likely depend upon your computer configuration.

Posted in this thread as is the thread linked to Thief missions. dml's courtesy Unna + Glypher
There is one major game breaking issue in this campaign, in mission 4: Hallucinations the game can crash to desktop due the the fact that after the conversation between Crastus and Franticius Dromed continuously adds hundreds of copies of "M-DontGoHome" metaprops, leading to memory leak and CTD. Apart from that most other fixes are relatively minor but includes an AI that sinks into the ground, a wall panel that can be bashed open, fences that can be mantled, hanging arrows bug and a couple of archers floating in the air.

Wow, there´s not even a "real" announcing thread to this fantastic campaign, I am surprised :O
I´ve just played through the whole campaign and I really did enjoy myself. At times I found it tough, like the mission "oracle of the prophecies" on the strange planet with those annoying creatures. I didn´t even finish it and jumped right to the next mission. It was just not my cup of tea.
What was really great was obviously the story. At the end when Garrett left the note to megatfree about his daugther a teardrop left my eye :D
Thanks a bunch for this!! :thumb:

AFAIK, while (or by) building this campaign, the author tried to come to terms with the loss of his own daughter in a somewhat similar, but real-life, occurrence. This intensified the emotional content of this campaign for me when I heard of it.
