Killing Time in the Clock Tower - HELP

I haven't played this game in a couple years so I thought I would give it a play again now. I am in the clock tower and am trying to get that dang loot off the ledge in the large vertical room. I know this is a very hard piece of loot to get.....the directions on how to get it aren't all that easy either. Anyone get this loot and if so how did you do it? :confused:

Thanks! I actually just kept at it and made it finally! I started out on a catwalk where there was one of the platforms with a Hammer. It was the one just to the right and up from the loot on the platform. I threw a gas bomb down on the platform and knocked him out. Then I jumped down to the platform and then up onto the railing. From there I could see the loot. I then just jumped and aimed myself at the railing but first I saved. I did that a couple times and fell all the way to the ground and reloaded and then I made it right onto the railing and got the loot!

Now I am just trying to find 90% of the stinkin' loot! I only have 86% and can't move on yet! ARGH!
