Cue the Enchantermon's former sig jokes.

I probably wouldn't really care if I didn't read (
http://venturebeat.com/2009/06/02/microsoft-games-executive-describes-origins-of-project-natal-game-controls/) this interview.
So the reason they spent millions on developing this is... there are people who are too dumb to operate modern consoles?
And the controllers are
intimidating.
Now I agree that Wiimote can be intimidating to feminists, but what the fuck is wrong with dualshock? It couldn't possibly be more natural to hold and operate. And that's coming from biggest PCfag here at TTLG. It's like Games for Windows squared. This is dumb. Microsoft is dumb.

You being Koki, I'm not surprised you haven't met those people, but I assure you they exist, and not in small numbers.

I'm really trying to decide if you deserve this title or not. You've got some hefty competition after all.

I'll be honest; console controllers used to intimidate me.
Then I grew up and got over it. :p
Phatose on 5/6/2009 at 02:47
Is it really surprising? Operating a typical automatic transmission car requires one wheel, two pedals, a shifter and a couple of switches. The dual shock has 10 buttons, a d-pad, and 2 combination analog stick/buttons.
june gloom on 5/6/2009 at 04:51
Did none of you idiots grow up when there were only a Dpad and 4 buttons, only two of which were meant for normal gameplay?
Controllers aren't intimidating if you don't let them be. I mean come the fuck on, look how much our games rely on 204365872406 keys on our keyboard. Compared to that controllers can and have been actually kind of limiting, depending on the game.

I remember it!
