It's a shame the next JK-style game is being made by a completely different team, not coming out on PC and going to be utter balls. I guess Raven are too busy with Return to Castle Wolfenstein 2.
is there a new JK game or are you referring to the force unleashed?
p.s. those of you that didnt like jk2sp should consider having a lobotomy. no offense.

True - with a lobotomy I might have enjoyed JK2 more... :p The gameplay was okay, and the lightsaber was much more fun than in the first Jedi Knight - but much of the level design was illogical. And the sniper gallery in Nar Shaada (or whatever it's called) was crap of the highest order.

Amen to that, brother. :)

Woot! Loved that game...
Nazis + paranormal + allies + lots of guns = win!
Except Bulletproof Monk, which was epic, epic fail.

I was referring to the force unleashed. I very much doubt there is a new JK game in the making since it would compete with the force unleashed, so we will probably have to wait a few years for the next one, hopefully made by Raven.

I never got around to finishing KotOR, and never even bought the sequel. I was having fun w/it and all, but I was playing on PC and it felt like it would have been much more fun on the couch w/a controller. I was thinking of getting a used version for my old XBOX and giving it a go.
TBH I'd say that you should stick with the PC version. KOTOR suffers DX:IW syndrome where all the levels are broken up into chunks and the load times on the Xbox version are LONG.

seriously? Ugh, THANKS for the heads-up. That is lame.

I'd stick to the PC version anyway, as the interface/controls are the best I've ever used in a turn-based RPG. You can play the entire game with mouselook without touching anything but the mouse and maybe the spacebar.

A friend of mine has been pestering me to play KOTOR2 by telling me that it's almost not like Star Wars at all (I hate SW) but IW syndrome kills the deal for me. Thanks for letting me know ahead of time.

The level sizes aren't too bad. Probably most similar to those in NWN, and I'd say a fair bit better than DXIW. It is a good game, but it ain't an automatic recommendation, the short dev time really hurt the ending and the overall depth of some of the companions, and it's easy.
