What kind of knock outs are these? What does "airborne" mean here?
Thanks for any help!

To not touch the ground while you hit a guard with the blackjack.

Here's what you do:
Sneak up behind a guard. Swing the blackjack and immedietly jump. If you connect while off the ground, it counts as airborne. This is just the basic way to achieve it. Remember, you must swing *before* you jump.

You mean like when jumping or falling from above the guard?

That's what the statistic is intended to represent, yes - knockouts while jumping down on a hapless AI below. But as Goldmoon says, it's easier to "fake it" by sneaking up behind an AI normally and jumping just after you press attack.

I wonder this community didn't have any airborne blackjacking competition yet, did we? Hard to prove though.

ive caught myself doing airborne backstabs because they look awesome. :ebil:
i could almost see Garrett flying down from a ledge, and firmly driving his sword into a guards head.
as for the airborne ko's, ive gotten about 5 max on LoTP, but those were entirely mistakes, awesome as hell mistakes, but mistakes nonetheless.

Really? My first impression was an early 90's video game.

i know, im just kinda puttin it in my imagination. like in a cutscene or somethin. that is if Garrett went in to the assassin buisness. speakin of which, im workin on my own story about an assassin, a psychic assassin to be exact. i dont mean hes just a mind-reader, but he also has things like TK, Pyrokenesis, and Psychic Camoflauge (similar to the Thermoptic Camo from Ghost In The Shell).
