I can download 12 10meg segments over a couple of days. It helped alot when Calendra's Legacy was broken up in to pieces, making it possible to download.
Why don't you just get it via BitTorrent? It has no problem resuming, and will even repair bad downloads.

This has been lots of fun. I especially liked
being able to walk all over the rooftops.
:thumb:
That was SO much fun! I had a blast betatesting this- and RTO especially.
I highly recommend everyone play it on Normal and pick off members of the ambush party from the roofs. Hopping around from building to building dropping mines and shooting assorted arrows at thieves and guards is just fantastic.
Reversing The Order has an inordinate amount of replay value thanks to the many ways to go about accomplishing the objectives. I found I was having more and more fun with each new replay instead of getting bored doing the same things.
Oh-I have to tell you now, Ken, that the raid at the end of The Inheritance was the greatest camvator sequence I've ever seen in Thief! :thumb:
I felt like I was going to be hit by one of those fire arrows!
Thanks Nightwalker for giving me support and aid during the betatest also. It was a real honor to be a part of something on such a grand scale as this and to have support from the greatest betatester of all time made it a wonderful experience.
And thanks Frobber for creating one of the most impressive sagas in Thief history.
EDIT: Hey, Epithumia- I hope you're feeling better! :)

Argh, I'm having crashing problems! I was fine with the two betas, but suddenly with the release version, I can't get past the conversation at the beginning of Reversing.
If I leave the room, the game crashes; if I wait through the conversation, then when Alisha leaves, the game crashes. I think the commonality is Alisha leaving (being teleported out)... I think she disappears if I go into reception, right?
Anyway, I have a great run through episode 5 that I don't want to lose -- 8 gas arrows, three invisibility potions, and only three points damage (I think I start with one, so only two in the game), with no health potions used up. This is driving me nuts!
Has anybody else had this problem, and is there anything I can do about it?

I'd be happy to send a copy, unless someone else already is.

I just checked, and my download has exactly the same number of bytes as are listed on the CheapThief site, so I don't think it was a download error. I'm stumped what's going on, why it keeps crashing to the desktop... anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know if it'll help, but do you have a save from the end of the first mission you can fall back on? If you don't, I always do a hard save whenever I finish a mission, and I'm looking at the mission completed screen. I haven't taken the final release for a spin yet, but I do have a hard-save from the end of the beta 2+3 versions of The Other Side of Time. I don't know if the save would work, but if you're desperate, I can try sending it to you, or slapping it on my web-site temporarily. :)

NightTerror, yes I do; I have a save from just when mumblety-mumble is going to the place with the thing. If I start from there, the mission ends, I get the little videos, then Reversing starts -- and it does the same thing, only worse: doing it this way, the game crashes almost the moment Franticius starts talking.

:erm: Now that's not good. But you already knew that. :erm: I'm thinking we need the man himself to take a look at this, I have absolutely no clue about what might be happening.

Feeling really stupid - been round and round the whole cathedral and can't seem to make a breakthrough - how do I find out what the special night is?
