You're on AOL? I'm amazed bittorrent worked at all.
Essentially, in bittorrent, your uploads and downloads are linked. This makes it a poor choice for dialup to begin with, as your overall bandwidth is already low, and AOL adds a whole other layer of potential problems.
Bittorrent is great if you've got decent bandwidth; it enables a community to share the distribution load instead of a single server getting hit - but it isn't really set up well for low-bandwidth situations.

I am also having issues with Lady Alisha and her disappearance in Reversing the Order.
Alright. I've worked up the most brain-dead solution for Episode 6 (Reversing the Order) I can could figure out to replace the previously (I though) simple process for releasing AI into the mission. A very easy solution has been created -- copying just one file into your main Thief 2 folder...
Download and open the following zip file. It contains a text file with the instructions. You can either try a temporay patch that will go away the next time you uninstall the FM or make it a permanent part of the FM mission release if it works for you.

Had a little trouble in The Inheritance, since I originally went around ko'ing all of the remaining guards (2 were sleeping, 1 was walking around) when I saw them, and when I tried to go see Alisha, it would say Mission Failed and check off that I had killed someone. I'm not sure if this is a bug or what but restarting and avoiding them was easy enough (Played on expert, version 1.18)
Edit: Don't know if this may help but I KO'd the one walking guard in the upper walkway area and it may have been one of the areas where the
fires are located in the final fortress seige scene
Okay - I got it. I dump the wandering guards just before the end scene so they don't come wandering around to disturb matters. I just so happen to dump them some place hazardous! doh!! :eww: And sometimes the engine assigns culpabilty for this. Playing on Hard is almost identically the same (you won't miss a thing) -- so that is a good idea until the final polished campaign is released this summer.
EDIT: Here's a patch for those who want to play Episode 8 (The Inheritance) on Expert...

It should be going plenty fast for everyone; there are eleven seeds, four downloaders and plenty of free bandwidth.
Leeching at 180k.

Im really enjoying the campaign its really good. I managed to complete the 'first' level but Im stuck on the second.
At the very begining after the conversation between the man and the women...what exactly do I do? I went off and killed a couple of guards and then that councellor bloke...but now what??? I never did see the girl again.
Anyway about the bittorrent thing...
I waited ages after it downloaded to try and help distribute it but it persistantly said 0kb transfered or something...was this because no one was trying to download it? I would have figured someone would try seeing as how the fms pretty new.
Oh well.

...now what???
Once you've done a little exploring -- head for the pub in the town square area near the big clock tower. (According to the scroll found in the next room from where you start -- that's where she shows up around 10pm). I released a patch last night -- see a few posts up for a link -- in case she isn't showing up at all. It's looking like a bug once in a while. Try that if you don't see her -- it's just a matter of downloading a 5MB zip file and unzipping one file into your main Thief 2 folder (instructions included).
Yeah. The end was amazing. Poor Alisha. She may have used Garrett but I still feel sorry for her.
