Well "blame" might not have been the best word.
But it was a fun ride was it not? Your ass must be tired from all that work. If I were you I wouldn't sit down for a year. :p :cheeky:
It's been MORE than a pleasure working with you and the rest of the gang.

If that's from another videogame, which is it from?
Quake 3 if I had to guess. (the guitar/rock portion during the credits sequence at the end of The Insurrection)

Does being home sick for a month count for anything? - Came down with mononucleosis a few days after the last patch was released. Nasty. Feeling a lot better now, though. Been great working with everyone on my end as well. I can't believe how many people were willing to volunteer. And how much quality work came my way as result.

If you'd like, I could do some voicework for you, too. I've always been impressed with the loving effort everyone puts into these missions.
Take a break from DromEd, though, you must be frazzled! :p
(Sly, your voice is perfect - dare I venture to say it's even better than Loanstar's work [brilliance in itself]. To heck with the nay-sayers!)

There's always a need for voice work (I'd suggest posting in the Editor forums for Thief 2 and 3) - since most FM designers can only croak out a few characters until the well runs dry. As for me, I'm very likely retiring from doing anything like leading a design team or building any more FMs. I've told my story, and now it's somebody else's turn.

Aww. :(
Thanks for the story, though. It was beautiful - here's hoping more FMs are created to that caliber! :thumb:

Ehem... I have a noobish question. I play the first mission from this final pack (back to the cathedral one) and I'm exploring and exploring and... nothing happens. I saw the guy talking in the lab, just close to the starting place, I also visited another room like that with a note saying that
someone was supposed to meet a messanger of Alishia
. What am I really supposed to look for? I know it's not a "true-Thief-fan" kind of question, but I work long hours in my job and I would really like to move one curious what's next... Perhaps a lil tip, just a small one? :cheeky:
Other than that... man... I still marvel at the cathedral, the more you play such missions, the more you just don't want to fonish them. But... I'm really curious what's next. :ebil:

jericho -
There are a couple of chapels to check out lower down at the cathedral balcony level.
jericho on 14/6/2005 at 21:50
Yes, yes, I have already found them, just a few minutes ago, before reading your reply. Wow! And wow again, this is breathtaking. What a story, ok now
let me follow Alishia
and see what happens next.
Damnit, where do you take all these ideas from? This is brilliant. :cheeky:

OK, I finished it... Amazing story, amazing set of FMs, I loved the ending... what can I say?... It leaves you in such a mood for reflection.
frobber, I enjoyed playing the whole series of KotP tremendously! I can only imagine the gigatons of hours you spent designing the missions, working on them, making sure everything works fine.
This last set... I couldn't stop playing, it was so interesting, you just had to see what was next. It's late at night over here, but you have to play it till the end. :cheeky:
