Can I ask a "haven't played any of them yet" question? Main reason is, I'm coming through a 56k, so I don't have a lot of room for download error (especially when it's this big ;))
In my archive disks, I have the following:
KotP: The Enterprise
KotP: Hallucinations
KotP: The Insurrection
KotP: Oracle of the Prophets
I do NOT have KotP: Book 1, as I assumed that was a collection archive.
After getting this new 5-9 download, will I have them all? Just want to be sure before starting, and that I'm not missing something important with the 'Book 1' archive.
In a word, yes. Now go start your download and head to bed. You can play tomorrow.

Yes indeed, I spent a couple of hours trying to beat Ep 6 on Expert, but gave up and did it on Normal. I'll try expert again when I have like a whole day to devote to it...geez!
Believe it or not, Frobber actually made this mission easier after beta1. (Even Slyfoxx thought it was near-impossible, and that's saying a lot!) There were only a few of us betatesters who actually finished it on Expert the first time, and I personally had to reload about 250 times to do so. But it was so worth it.
It's still very hard, but I think that adds a bit of replayability. There are meaningful differences in mission 6 between the three versions, although having played on Normal will make it a bit easier to be successful on hard and expert. Just don't expect everyone to always be in the same place they were on the easier versions!

Finished. The missions were all simply amazing and yet...it's sorta sad that it's over. *Sigh* Oh well. I guess there's no need to pine when there's so much to do and (sometimes) new stuff to find when replaying all the missions. Thank you for such a wonderful series, Frobber. :)

Firstly, Congratulations to Frobber on the release...:thumb:
Secondly, for those of you that are in the dial-up group
(I was there not too long ago myself) of which it will take all night
(or more) to download this pack - I think it's only fair to share that
from the areas in the levels I went through this afternoon - these maps appear to be a good percentage of the original FM maps Frobber had done (you start in Insurrection) - but with some new areas added to those original maps, new objectives, textures, movies, and some very cool scripting.
It's definitely a cool pack and a must play for all Thief fans.... :thumb:

I would say yes! You'll miss critical plot details and a good game.

I was in Sweden when the final testing phase was going on...so yeah. I'm not much of a tester.
Good to see this one out. Have fun everyone!

In "reversing the order",
I have been all over the place for 1.5 hrs, finding myself lurking around the warehouse areas...
knocking out several thief guild characters guarding non-frobbable doors. Where are you suppose to go? Several objectives automatically alerted me as completed while I was sneaking around.... and the only one left is "Councelor must Die Tonight!"
I am playing on normal this time around.
Where is the councelor?
I havn't seen Alesia or the councelor since the cut scene at the beggining.
Franticus is in a huge barn somewhere around the indrustial part of town, you know the buiding from it's size when you see it.
You've done nothing wrong, as sometimes Alishia just manages to make it through all the opponents alone, resulting in a missions success.
