I read in the walkthrough that it's [SPOILER]in a chest and a key is needed. I assume it's the chest near the gargoyle statue. I have found two keys - one in a tower outside (front door key I think, though I still had to pick the lock) and one in the secret room where you find info on the sleeper. The chest still won't open.[/SPOILER] What am I missing?

Think like Thief 1/2. Bring the key up in your inventory, highlight the chest/door and press your "use" key (the same one you use for throwing flashbombs etc.). You'll notice you also have readables in your inventory - again, just use them to read them.

Actually, that reminds me of a little bug - the two front doors are completely separate, so you can unlock one with the key then lockpick the other...

Thanks, Glaswolf. I didn't even realize that inventory existed! When I went to the items submenu, it said no quest items. I had to actually cycle through my inventory for the keys to show up. So I found [SPOILER]the chalice[/SPOILER]. I know what I need to do with it, but it's disappeared. The objective has checked off, but it's not in my inventory when I cycle through it. The items submenu still says no quest items. I must say, I'm a bit stymied by this. Anybody got any ideas?

How come there is there wooden bar across my face? :weird: :weird:

It blocks my view and it disappears when I look up or down

If you have older nvidia drivers then you'll get that bar. Updated drivers usually gets rid of it.

:p Found 5 rope arrows, but they are not in my inventory and I didn't even get a chance to shoot them. Where are they ?

Because rope arrows don't have a key assigned to them, you have to use the next/previous weapons keys to select them.
