In KFS you play a disgruntled Kung Fu fighter who, as the title suggests, goes on a strike. His journey takes him to the top levels of ancient Chinese government as he slashes through red tape and airs his grievances to the ninja-bureaucrats of the Ming dynasty. At least that's what I'm guessing the story is. I don't know, I haven't really been paying attention. Too busy roundhouse kicking and simultaneously bitchslapping dudes while not being affected by gravity.
Got this in the Be Mine bundle and it turned out to be an unexpected treat. I normally don't care for arena-confined combo-heavy fighting games. I didn't care about the challenge rooms in the Batman's for instance, but I'm enjoying this very much. The combat starts out quite simple, and the first 3 levels are a breeze, then level 4, a duel with a lone swordsman, hits you like a brickwall. It seems incredibly difficult at first, but this is only because the game wants you to learn a lesson. The lesson is proper blocking and evasion, and only when you've mastered it does the game permit you to move on. And the gameplay experience in the following levels is much richer for it. There are a few unlockables, some new combos and buffs to your healthbar, but most of the progress you'll be doing has purely to do with mastering the techniques, and getting to know your enemies.

Dang, ok. I'm sure it's doable with a lot of perseverance. The shadow woman doesn't still split into two in that final fight does she? Just defeated her yesterday. At level 15, or thereabout, right now.

She actually does.
Which is quite a pain.

This game is actually excellent. Surprisingly solid mechanics. Learning to block properly after a couple of levels really changes the gameplay, and it becomes harder and more satisfying.
Stuck on the final boss now, though. Motherfucker's cheap as hell.
