I'm doing a little test through the game, and I wish to try and keep npc deaths to a minimum. However, in the Sunken Citadel there is a battle between a pagan shaman, swordsman and two kurshok, and I can never get to them before at least one of them is down. I tried flashbombs, gas arrows/bombs, to no avail. Anyone know a way I'd be able to disable them before they kill each other?
p.s.: I know that my quest is doomed to fail, but I wish to see how far I can get this way. The sunken citadel would be far too soon...

Without re-compiling altered map files there is no chance I fear. (Some of) Those events are scripted (especially with the attacking rats) and as soon as you enter certain volumes, they are triggered. Either you don't move at all or throw around gas and flash bombs.

I neutralised the rats with a gas bomb. The problem with the pagan fight is that my flash bombs and gas bombs don't have the range, and hitting the pagans with gas arrows is ... difficult
