Oh yeah I was supposed to play one of these fucking games today wasn't I? Well, I didn't!
Instead I played:
Beat Saber - A bit of saber-beating first thing in the morning to start the day off right! Then a shower and breakfast before it's on to...
Assassin's Creed Origins - I bought a horse and rode from Alexandria to Siwa. Also did some hunting.
Thy Sword - the developers of this live in my city! Also it was -25% so I decided to finally pick it up. It's a nice slice of old-school action platforming.
Zombie Army Trilogy - tried, and failed, to do the final mission of this with Jesh and Sulhur. Zombie-Hitler's a dick.
Samorost - this is lovely.
Mouse Corp - I played this because I think perhaps I should play every game by thecatamites. It made me very melancholy.
Picross S - playing Picross on the Switch while watching re-runs of The Office (US version) is my current comfort-zone.

All 3 of the Samarost games are great. Definitely worth playing through all of them. Awesome music as well.

Ehhh, I think I'm good. One Samorost is enough for me.
Anyway, I went back and played a game on the list. Hollow Knight. I ventured back into Deepnest, and the verdict is: fuuuuuuck this. Uninstalled. If I ever was gonna finish this it would've had to be back when I was really into it. Getting back into it at this point is more of a time investment than I'm prepared to put in.

I can definitely relate. While I loved playing Hollow Knight, I haven't gone back to play any of the DLC, mainly because the game was difficult enough when I was playing it more or less every day. Getting back to harder content now, months later, I somehow think I wouldn't be having a particularly good time. (It's one of the reasons why I've been dragging my feet with respect to getting back to The Witcher 3 and finally playing Blood and Wine - I've forgotten many of the controls and game mechanics, in particular with respect to combat.)

And you'll definitely need to brush up on TW3's combat before getting into Blood and Wine, because I went in after the longest gap and proceeded to get my ass handed to me by a Bruxa. It's another thing that there's always a way to come out of these battles unmolested, but remembering your options is half the battle. Hollow Knight is simpler, but I guess it's calibrated at a higher level of difficulty for combat platforming.

Thanks for the heads-up on that one. It'll be another couple of months before I'll get around to it, but it's good to know that I'll have to do some homework before heading to Toussaint.

I figured I could knock another game off the list this week so I booted up Heat Signature!
Info:
It's getting hot in space! (so hot!) So blast off into space! I am - getting so hot - I wanna go intoooooo space...
Thoughts:
I was expecting to be all done with this, but ended up really clicking with it, gameplaywise, perhaps even more than when I was playing it a couple months ago. This is a fun game. It has very good systems.
Conclusion:
At 290MB there's really no reason to uninstall it, so I'm moving it into my "Perma-install" Steam folder.

Another session with Windlands confirmed what I felt during my first session with it: queasiness.
Info:
It's a VR platformer where you swing around with grapplinghooks.
Conclusion:
Uninstalled.

Whoa, did I forget to do this last week? Well, this week's a twofer.
Styx: Shards of Darkness - I played one more level of this and decided to call it quits. Yeah the level design is great, but the gameplay is very basic and Styx is too obnoxious to wanna hang out with. Uninstalled.
Undertale - I finished it! Man, what a freaky ending!

RE: Undertale - any good? See any reason to do a pacifist run?
