I just traded for a copy of Overlocked: A History of Violence, which sounds like an interesting adventure game. I haven't played a good dramatic adventure since Dreamfall, so I'm hoping it meets my expectations.

I am bumping this one up. I liked this topic.

Anyway, I recently bought:

Manhunt 2 (came with Manhunt which I already had on multiple platforms :laff:)

Tropico Gold (comes patched and with the expansion)

Machinarium (not yet played)

Torchlight (only fired it up for 5 minutes)

Age of Mythology Gold (with the Titans expansion pack. Again 5 minutes)

Anyone else?

Well, since I last posted in this topic, I've bought Batman: AA, last year's Prince of Persia, Uncharted 2, Assassin's Creed II, and Flower/Super Stardust HD/Everyday Shooter from PSN. I'm waiting for ACII to be shipped to me, should be here by Tuesday.

Everything's been unequivocally fun so far, including PoP. That is, however, only as long as I treat PoP less like a game and more like a (very) pretty interactive movie where I have to lethargically press a button or two every now and then to progress.

OOOH, you bought flOwer? I played that for a bit @ a buddy's house. Very imaginative, that one. How much does it cost? Have you played flOw? If so, is it worth a purchase if you like flOwer? I would love to see that developer keep releasing titles, they could get insanely good.

Damn, the 2 hours I spent with it were over much too soon. I envy you. It stomps a mudhole in the first game.

dragon age: origins. stopped after redcliffe and before MageTower. OK sofar but immediately made obsolete and boring by my latest purchases:

STALKER: Call Of Pripyat

Only played the first hour of the Void and I'm already looking forward to it once I finished my (at least) 2 playthroughs of COP. it is that good. ClearSky is forgotten, GSC have redeemed themselves after loosing a few important ppl at the end of development of SOC (or shortly after). All the direction they go in for the zone/game/gameplay/quests are an improvement. The game misses the scope of SOC and its underground levels but it's an addon and the next best thing. GOTY contender for sure. makes any other so-called "shooter" pale in comparison.

GalCiv, GalCiv2, and X3 2.0. For a grand total of $20.

Of course, this increases the number of unplayed games in my collection to fuckpile+3.
