Machinarium - well that Indie bundle it was in anyway.
Also the Serious Sam HD steam special

I saw that Section 8 was GFWL, and pondered it for a bit on that basis. I remembered reading that provided you never take it online, GFWL will let you operate entirely offline (even if it doesn't particularly encourage it), which swayed me. I realise Section 8 is intended as a multiplayer game, but I only bought it to play single-player, because jetpacks in any FPS are awesome.
Fuel's GFWLness caught me completely by surprise -- the bastards changed the logo at some point, and I thought it was just the non-Live GFW logo (purchased online; just looked at the thumbnail; stupid me.) Still, the same applies... it sounds like I can keep it all offline.

So what do you think of Fuel? I tried it a bit but the only good thing about that game, imo, was the gameworld. The handling wasn't much fun and the races were nothing special.
Last game I (and probably a lot of people around here) bought: MINECRAFT!
also in the last month: Crackdown 2 (for 22 euros) and Watchmen: The End is Nigh, Parts 1 & 2 (5 euros)

Yeah, the gameworld is why I picked it up. I figure I'll get some enjoyment out of simply exploring. Not installed yet.

Yeah, I'll echo henke's thoughts on Fuel. The world is awesome, though. I never played MP, but I would've liked to.
Anyway, I bought RF: Guerrilla last night off of D2D for $6.

I just bought the new Tomb Raider and Chaser off steam. Currently downloading TR @ 2.5 mb/s :o
Being a student and getting cheap ultra-speed internet rocks.

I am SOOOOO gay for Chaser. I have the discs (and can upload pics to prove it) but lost the serial key in my recent move. It was on the manual back-page, and my bitch chucked it. just so happened to be the ONLY game I didn't write down and email myself for archiving.
Anyway...wanna play Chaser multiplayer sometime? If not, please at least share your thoughts on the game when you get around to playing it. I haven't been able to talk Chaser in years. Shame. The game was solid, GORGEOUS GORGEOUS, old-school, straight-up, no chaser (haha no pun intended) challenging FPS shootery. Enjoy.
Definitely one of the best looking games of its time.

Halo: Reach.
:)
I haven't enjoyed a Halo game as much since the original CE (well, ODST came close ;)).
Great stuff.
w00t!

@ gunsmoke
Yeah, it looks REALLY good for a game its age. I was really surprised. The maps so far seem a bit dull, but thats only by today's UE3-fill-the-level-with-static-meshes style of decorating maps. It reminds me of some of those awful B-FPS games like Will Rock... but so far has done everything right.
That and it runs awesome on my netbook. I've only gotten to play it a little bit today, and it wasn't the best time because I had my compy resting on my lap and using my mouse on my thigh while I was sitting in a chair at the ER while my wife slept getting pumped full of saline. Wasn't the most productive of gaming sessions, even if I wasn't super distracted all day. Sick and Dehydrated wife is a dangerous thing for the baby.

I fully agree with this; was pleasantly surprised with this game. Although I always enjoyed the combat dynamics in the Halo games, the level design was always pretty lacking imo (never played ODST). Not here; extremely varied level design that made for very interesting scenarios. Plus, space combat! :D
Great stuff, indeed.
[edit] Last game I bought: (
