When Circuit City was going out of business:
- Doom 3 (for Dark Mod only - I haven't played it otherwise)
- and, Scarface (because it was dirt damn cheap, thankfully)

Scarface. Damn, that game had so much potential to be awesome. What a let down. True Crime was more fun. It was a mess, and way too complex (needlessly).
EDIT
I just received Sims: Bustin' Out and Cold Fear in the mail today! Bustin' Out is a blast, at least it was for the 2 hours I played. Even better than The Sims. Cold Fear is a survival horror game from Darkworks/UbiSoft. It is old-school in every way, save for the over-the-shoulder/Resident Evil 4 with a laser sight gunplay.

Yeah, that's the one that I meant.
I found a NICE copy on ebay for $5 with free shipping. Should be here any day. I'll let you all know what I think. Hopefully, I will have finished Cold Fear by then!

Got Red Faction Guerilla and The Sims 3 sat here ready for playing when I get home, and Prototype coming down from Steam next week.

Warhammer online.
I bought it last December. I was waiting for a few friends to find the right time to start playing. That never happened. The box is unopened on my desk. I've finished Oblivion, and then picked up WoW Wrath of the Lich King. I'm done with WLK kinda. So maybe now I have time to play The Witcher, Crysis and Stalker. If I had time, I'd buy and try FallOut3, GTA4 and a few more games.

It was Universe at War:Earth Assault for $9.95from EB and Black & White 2:Collector's Edition for just $30 from eBay.

I was surprised that Warhammer Online didn't grab me at all - I played the pre-order beta and ended up cancelling my purchase. :erg:
Then I found LOTRO and, well.

So Freedom Force and the sequel went up on Steam for 6.75
Only having played the demos, I bought both immediately and I'm not regretting it at all.
Exactly WTF happened to games that make the gamer use his BRAIN?!

"Gothic 2" gold edition (25% off at GOG)
Renzatic on 6/6/2009 at 02:24
Ahh, Gothic 2. One of the greatest games ever made in my humble opinion. Have fun. :D
