Shoulda got Thief Gold. But good find nonetheless.
Shit, for 80 pence, he got a deal! You can always look for the Gold levels later. Enjoy!!!

Heh, I plan to! I know Gold is recommended over DP, but hey, that's what I bumped into and I wasn't gonna go looking a gift horse in the mouth. :p

Exactly! Enjoy, man!!!

The Dark Project is still the original. And it's a little tighter without the extra missions. Just a matter of perspective maybe, but it's not the case that TDP is just Thief Gold minus some stuff. They both have their own thing going so you could make a good case that either one is better than the other, and you don't have to feel like you're "missing" anything.

My argument for Thief Gold is twofold: first, it's like a "director's cut"- it's the "complete" version of the game. It ties in with Thief 2, as well. Second, opera house.

As soon as there's a re-release, then I might care. As far as I'm concerned, OOP games that are only available for a zillion dollars off of Ebay don't exist.
TDP is practically re-released every other Thursday in the UK alone.

Just bought Queen's Gambit, mainly because I'm getting back into ArmA in a big, slightly worrying way, and I hear that the QG campaign is much better than the one included in ArmA (which isn't difficult, obviously...).

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance I and II. I know it might not be a full blown RPG, but it's a fun game and has a two player mode :)

The missions are indeed good, but prepare for horrible dialogs / writing. :)

You mean it's better if I play it in Czech or whatever language it was created in, because the less I understand the better it sounds? :p
