Cool, where were they playing? They're doing a car-park gig somewhere near me soon-ish, I've probably left it waay too late to get tickets. I can't imagine what it would be like to see them live. How was it?
I went to see Symphony X last night, it was ok - lots and LOTS of pony-tails and black long-sleeve t-shirts with pictures of dragons and/or castles and something like 'dominion of the night' written on the back. I got bought a lot of beer, and the lead singer did a lot of clutching at the air and screaming 'you wanna ROCK, london! C'mon! Aoow!' which was pretty cool. I haven't seen anyone be that unashamedly old-school for ages. Couldn't hear the keyboardist though.
