Forgot [T2]
On my way to complete the beacon I've somehow lost the stage 2 piece. I don't know how that happened, I just reloaded today and when I needed it I noticed I only have a stage 1 piece in inventory.
This really made me mad. I'm definitely NOT going all the way back to the beginning to w/e that machine is called and create a new stage 2 piece.
Is there maybe a way to edit the save game and add it to the inventory?
If not, I'll just consider the game finished now...

Oh well, I just restarted the mission now, although I hate it. Otherwise I'd have to get by 2 large robots with no cover and that would not have been so easy.
This time everything worked, got the stage 3 piece now.

Glad you made it. But the two Warbots can be dodged in that area if you are patient.
They do patrol from there into the long hall to the intersection, and you have enough time to do the deed if you don't waste it, and you can dodge into the shadows if you are too slow.
There are places along the side, and in the foliage where you can hide, and they don't go.
Unless you are Ghosting, you can take them out with a couple of water arrows.

Or with 20 blackjack hits!

This really doesn't make sense. The "pieces" build on each other, so the Stage 1 piece turns into a Stage 2 piece, and then the Stage 2 piece turns into a Stage 3 piece. In other words, you wouldn't ever have both a Stage 1 piece AND a Stage 2 piece in your inventory at the same time.
My guess is that after you got the Stage 2 piece created, you just forgot to save. Possible? I'm also guessing that LGS set it up so you can't actually drop any of the Stage pieces to avoid the problem of losing them somewhere in the hugeness of Soulforge.
Edit: Wrong on that last part, apparently you can drop a Stage piece. But you still shouldn't have more than one in your inventory at any given time (unless you go through the trouble of building additional Stage 1 pieces, which there wouldn't be any need for).

If you couldn't drop a stage piece it would be rather hard to put them into the correct machines :p
