Okay, this has some spoiler info regarding JC's last trip to hell's kitchen...

In Hell's Kitchen, after you've found Stanton Dowd, Jock tells you that MJ12 Troopers are homing in on your position. If you don't leave the area soon enough, a few minutes later about 6-8 troopers come running down the road aiming for you. Usually I throw a gas grenade or two, turn on some augs, and take 'em down.

Does only one group come looking for you or does the game periodically spawn more of them to come after you? I've never stayed around long enough after the first batch to find out.
