Me too. The only games that I'd want to sell are the ones that weren't all that good, and I'm careful enough about what I buy that I don't have more than a few of those. Everything else I want to be able to reinstall and replay next year and 10 years from now, as I do with the
Thief and
Fallout games.
I'm rather strange. Although I buy lots of used games, I rarely sell them to others. I guess this is because I only buy games that I know I'll like (like games that I've played before).

http://i46.tinypic.com/6ggbw9.jpghehe, I provided my friend with the "consumer-friendly" patch (that does not exist according to ubisoft, hehe) and we continued the game. stupid ubisoft. and how is it possible that the rage thread on the ubi forum is only 8 pages long ??? btw, game is ok, nothing to write home about. but stabbing ppl in the head never gets old...or poisoning an entire squad and see them killin each other.

Looks like they've got problems again today. Their twitter page says:

Our servers are under attack again. Some gamers are experiencing trouble signing in. We're working on it and will keep you posted.
Their forums seem to back this up although "Some gamers" would seem to be an understatement. (Unless of course they're only counting legitimate PC players who haven't applied a patch like mothra).

Ah, a concerted DoS attack. Charming, but ultimately dumb. That's just a leeetle more immediately illegal than piracy, and it's the worst way to send a message across. Almost every single way I look at this, it's going to end with Ubi just throwing their hands up and saying, 'fuck it, it's not like the PC's our biggest revenue stream any more'.
It's kinda sad. I was looking forward to the new Prince of Persia and (perhaps someday) BG&E2. I'll consider playing their shit on a console, but this wholesale DRM insanity of theirs is leaving a very sour aftertaste in my mouth.

On the contrary, it's the perfect way to wake up Joe Clueless PC Gamer to exactly what Ubi has done with AC2. Kind of like in They Live when Roddy Piper beats up his friend and forces him to put on the glasses.

Agreed. And a great reference, by the way!
