Spiders. All spiders. I'm not arachnophobic, they're just really annoying. I guess the Chaos Spiders gave me the hardest time because of their stupid webs and magic missiles.

Those yucky Chaos spiders!! I can handle the energy shots, but when they wrap me up in webs, I just freak!! I hate all spiders - virtual or RL - but anytime there are webs :eww::eek::eww::eek:

A coworker of mine moved here from warmer climes, and found out he had an allergy to the silk of a certain species of common spider here. It only happened a few times before he became immune to it, but he would walk into the leftover strand or two a spider had left in transit, and it would burn his skin right where it touched. He would have this long red welted line or two across his face, resembling a cat's claw scratch but for the length, and he'd be miserable.:wot:

I didn't even bother with the cherub because it isn't much of a direct threat. Even the workerbots can alert their bigger clockwork brothers or Mechanists more efficiently than those impressive, but useless child-like automatons (ooh, gosh, who knows if Karrass wasn't a bit "pedo" :cheeky:  :eww: :joke:).
I don't think they can actually warn anyone. In LotP he runs to servant in the kitchen and then he reaches out to erm, it, but it does nothing. I don't think workerbots should even be on the list, they're the cutest creatures in the game. :D

Bugbeasts. They'd be better off going back to the Ministry of Silly Walks.

Cute, yes, but obNOXious. They tattle!
In terms of pure fright, nothing in T1 or T2 affected me like the monsters in T3. In the Cradle, it's between the puppets and those chillingly featureless, practically silent shadow men. They just gave me the willies. T3 haunts about gave me a heart attack with those sudden shrieks. I never realized before that I could be paralyzed by sound. I've been impressed to see fm makers adopt sophisticated terror elements after T3 - Drk, for one (bangs forehead on floor 3 times).
