Well I searched and couldn't find a thread about this. Thus:
Anyone heard of it? I'm sure you have. Valve's Co-Op zombie survival game, due out at Xmas now (the dates keep being shuffled) for PC and XBox360 (apparently).
Far from being a simple run and gun this sounds fairly involved and I hope that once I have a net connection at home (this is from work) some of my TTLG peeps will be joining me for some survival action (and my zombie attacks). It'll probably be ripe for the modding/FMing too. In some ways the idea is reminiscent of Alien Swarm, but this promises to be far more dynamic with The Director altering the course of the action.

This game does look very interesting. If it turns out well, I'm definately buying it.

It seems nice but I doubt I'll be buying it, especially when there are so many other zombie survival -type mods under work.
And they are free.

It looks a lot more ambitious and interesting than any of the zombie mods I've seen. I'm sort of excited about this.

the problem is that most of them aren't coming out within the next ten years.

not interested in ZM. the one i really want is they hunger: lost souls. but that's not even due for another 6 months or so.

Hmmm. Interesting. 2 zombie mods on the way? It'll all depend on the quality of them in the end. The Star Wars mod for UT2004 looked like it'd be great but it was dull dull dull.
Is They Hunger a commercial release or a free mod? Says it's a commercial release on the site but I've never heard that before.
Zombiemaster looks a little amateur. Yes, I know it is an amateur creation but of the 3 zombie games mentioned itt it looks the poorest. Not that I could do better but I'm a player, not a maker.

yes, it's a commercial release. i think it's due in the fall.
