good review. this game is my cup of tea. and I think it's all that DOOM3 should have been. But as I already saw on a few gaming blogs, the doom-l4d comparison didn't come solely to my mind. many other think so. Let's hope id floors us with Doom4.

Doom 3 wanted to be, and was, an action game. System Shock 2 was an action RPG. Saying that the former should have been the latter... well, it's just silly and self-centred.

I have, and yes, it does take over some things from System Shock 2 - but in terms of gameplay it simply isn't SS2 nor does it try to be.
