I should definitely play the game some more. I've only played it for a couple of hours and enjoyed it a lot, but then I always went back to my single-player games.

anyone getting this ?
if you buy the 4-pack in the US and gift it to 4 euros, they only have to pay 30 euros each, which makes it the price for an expansion.

It'll be superseded by the sequel in a couple months, I'd say that it's a bit late to buy it now. The playerbase will probably largely migrate to L4D2, leaving mostly the idiots who bought L4D for the Single Player (I hear that the latter action is quite popular in Cincinnati).

Sorry for not clarifying:
I AM TALKING ABOUT L4D2(!). if you preorder it in the US for 4 ppl and gift them to someone in EUROland they have to pay 30 euro each. which makes the price acceptable.
I liked L4D1 but I won't pay 45 euros for an expansion, no matter how much Valve cries and tries to win over the community. IT IS THE SAME GAME,
I just want more campaigns, I couldn't care less about new survivors, enemies and some stupid dismemberment/mellee system. It's just a "skinning-job", ask any dev that worked on a game how MUCH money you can save by just picking up where you left and add some things here and there. Even testing is easier since you have prototypes, bots already premade and ready.

I really think it's time you shut the fuck up.
Seriously, you're being a massive hairy ass and no one likes you anymore - no matter how many RssUnit threads you start about stuff everyone already read about on Kotaku/RPS.

AHHH, the overly-sensitive SubDeaf having an over-reaction once again!
I was making a light-hearted joke at Dethtoll's expense, you must be pretty fucking stupid and unobservent to not realise that. How about you calm the fuck the down and stop treating the internet as serious business? It clearly seems to consume your life.
