Thing is I know of a member who was banned for repeatedly double and triple posting. Each post had different content but he was banned because he wouldn't stop when the mods told him how annoying it was. This is worse.
Well, if it bothers you so much, I'll try to make sure I won't do it again.

And that's how shit gets done, rather than telling people to go back to prickville. ;)

You poor bastards across the Tasman. You have my sympathies.

UPDATE: While EA and Valve have been quiet about exactly what content had been changed in the "modified version" of Left 4 Dead 2, Australia's Classification Board hasn't been as silent. The Board has provided GameSpot AU with a copy of today's Left 4 Dead 2 ruling, which states that the modified version of the game recently resubmitted "no longer contains depictions of decapitations, dismemberment, wound detail, or piles of bodies lying about the environment".
"It is the Board's view that the element of violence in the game has been sufficiently modified and is now able to be accommodated within the MA15+ classification," the report stated.

This is incredible. Weren't all those aspects in the original game anyway? The reviewers must have been high when they went through that one!

There were no decaps or dismemberments in L4D1. I'm not sure what they mean by "piles of bodies" though, as there were plenty of dead bodies strewn about.
Angel Dust on 11/10/2009 at 00:42
Yes there were. Maybe not with melee but you could blast off limbs and while you couldn't decapitate in the 'classic' sense, you could blow their heads off.

There is a real Mercy Hospital and the official review site has been spammed by L4D players with comedy reviews.

A bit of a constricted feeling...by SmokerI mean, get a smoker straight. I just arrive there, looking for some cough syrup, when these punk ass hunter tries to show off his moves.
Now I don't usually be irritated by that lame hunter, but this one got me.
So I casually constrict this stupid brunette, I think, and all is going great, when JUST the ledge happened to actually kill her. Poor woman. I think I ought to check if she's alright, but some retards shot at me, and I had to get away.
In short:
BUILD SAFER LEDGES.
* Pros: Nice place to hang out
* Cons: Needs less ledges. People.

The 4-pack deal + the 10% pre-order discount leads to ~$35 USD per copy. I bought this as part of a group order, coming to ~$45 NZD, close to the traditional price of PC expansion packs of $50 RRP.
In the wake of all the this CoD:MW2 malarkey, Valve is one the last FPS developers who take PC gaming seriously. At least they won't turn out and crap on their fanbase as badly as Infinity Ward has.

Whiney people said Codemasters were full of evil corporate money grabbin evilness with the OFP2 release. Yet people I know who have the PC version seem reasonably comfortable with the multiplayer setup now.
Why should a company fork out for additional stuff that has negligible benefits?
As far as I'm concerned, Valve are among the worst of the retailers with their attitude to pricing strategies. I see no reason to give them any more praise than necessary.

OFP2 also has ZERO PROTECTION for MP, no CD keys, no anti-cheat solution, nothing. So you've got warez dudes playing it without any hindrance and cheaters are going unopposed.
The difference is the PC version of CoD4 was one of the most popular MP games in its day. Vs. OFP2, MW2 would've had a significant built-in playerbase. No modding and dedicated servers means that professional competitive and tournament viability of the product will be gone. Mods to disable perks, UAVs and helicopter strikes are essential for tournament play.
