A year and a half later from buying L4D, it is still my favorite game. I'm really enamored with the play and team-work involved in being successful. I've made great friends playing the game as well.

It's a lot like when I first bought Thief, oh so many years ago. I became obsessed with all things Thief. That's the whole reason why I'm here on this board, looking up things for Thief in 2000. I've made some great friends here as well, from the Thief universe. Never liked the Eidos forums, but here is a home away from home. I continue to read these boards daily.

On a sad side of this, I haven't played Thief for a long time. Every once in a while, I get the urge. I have it installed on a laptop and on an old system I never plug in anymore, unless I have that urge. Thief was probably my all time favorite thing to do, and now I've replaced it with L4D.

Oh this cheater, invited some of his other cheater friends after awhile. We had 3 speed hackers on the enemy team, and still managed to win. It was tough, I'll admit. I usually only lose to people who have wall-hack see-through, or aim-bot mods installed. Or sometimes, I actually lose to people who are really good. But you can spot the cheaters. I know when I've been pwned.

So sneaksie and I devised a funneh little audio mod for L4D1 and 2. It makes it so that when you pick up items, it plays the sound from Thief when Garrett picks up loot. PICKLOOT.WAV. Anyway, if anyone is interested, I'll upload it somewhere and make a readme.
