Well I only bang women who have at least beaten The Parish on expert. Word must have got out - that's probs why more girls are playing.
Anyway it turns out they changed the rules on confederacy of crunches - no throwables at all. Just pick up a bat and that's all you get to use throughout the campaign. If you go down and fire your gun, forget it. It was fairly hard - I only just managed to pull it off on advanced tonight after you chaps left. so bob_doe_nz, gunny, if you want it - no throwables at all. :O

yeah, I am over it. You went idle, and your bot picked up a shotgun and proceeded to fire AFTER ALL THOSE FUCKING RESTARTS. I was done... Man, that was a ride though wasn't it?

It was a lot of fun. It wouldn't have worked anyway, as everybody was mollying tanks and throwing bile and shit. You and bob would have been kinda pissed anyway because Technique and I would have been the only ones to get the achievement due to our refusal to throw anything.
We should try it again sometime. So much fun. There were points when there was so much blood on the screen that you couldn't tell what you were hitting. heh and the number of times I saw you just run up to a boomer and gut it toe-to-toe whilst giggling maniacally, I lol'd. It was also a lot of fun battering the shit out of the witches when you knew for a fact that one of you was going to go down for it
By the way, you can restart chapters and still get the achievement. But just melee. Basically if you are on advanced and getting gang-banged by a horde, below 20 health you should just let go of your mouse until your team-mates revive you. The chance that you will fire a shot whilst incapped is too high otherwise, due to the obvious self-defense reflex
Anyway I've deleted all my steam games for a few weeks as I have exams coming up. So I'll see you round the barnyard, buck

Awesome, another L4D1 campaign has been retrofitted for L4D2! The Dead Air beta been released. I look forward to playing it and am glad to hear that the rest of the L4D1 campaigns are being ported over.

Have they fixed the L4D2 friendly AI yet?
The last time I played the game (which feels like a year or more ago), it was still absolutely hopeless, because it had no idea how to deal with the new gameplay situations where there's endless zombie respawn, and everyone needs to be moving :/
