Five campaigns, new character interaction, missions that actually change content based on the AI Director, new weapons, new enemies. This is definitely enough new content to warrant a standalone game.
Yeah, that's what they said about the first one too.

Sounds incredible. Bigger and better. Better and bigger. I can't wait to try it out!
I just wish they (RPS) had a fucking editor.

See that button with the letters "H" and "D" on it? Try clicking it.

Yeah except it's still just as blurry.

It's still compressed to hell, so that defeats the purpose.
I'm not paying $50 USD this time around, bad enough that the first game shipped incomplete. I might've been a sucker years ago for these console-esque development practices of passing off expansion packs as full blown sequels, but not any more.
L4D2 is strictly bargain bin fodder as far as I'm concerned.
Oh and the Orange Box was a one time deal only, now that they've gotten a taste for those Xbox dollars we'll never see a re-occurrence of such good content to cost ratio value from Valve again.

Drop by, or tell me where you live. Can't do out-of-the-country transfers.

I can't understand the people who complained about the lack of "content" in L4D. Sure, you could blow through the maps quite quickly on your own, but I've probably put more hours into that game than most other games that I spent the same amount on.
