Quality of maps is likely a non-issue, it will probably have the Sven Co-op effect where any old PoS map is fun.

If they have a reasonable price model for L4D owners it won't be too big a deal. Many people will still complain though, and its fair enough.
Don't they make enough money already? Or is the free new content for TF2 really draining on the coffers?

I would think they get shitloads of money, what with all of the third party games they distribute. I'm betting VALVe probably would have been struggling today if they hadn't come up with steam and started acting more like a "gaming service."

God that is an awful video. They lost all credibility once I heard epic scary music. L4D2 will be worth about $40-$50. 5 campaigns. That's what, 25-30 levels? All enabled for all gametypes? New uniques, new regular zombies, new voice acting, new ammo types, melee weapons. What more do you want? When does it stop being a rip-off that the evil Valve corporation is forcing you to pay for?

Some of you whine a little too much. So Valve hasn't supported L4D like they did TF2, fine, but they still support it. Survival mode, new versus maps. It's lots of fun.
Yeah, ok, I wish there were some new campaigns too =/...
