I can't help but be excited about both of these. My 6 year old and I have played the HELL out of both Lego Star Wars games. I don't know what's so loveable about them, but when we first got them, I stayed up waaay too late playing them, and I haven't done that with a game in quite some time (well, maybe Psychonauts recently). I hope Lego continues with this idea - they could do LOTR, Harry Potter, etc. The formula is awesome IMO.
Only thing I hate is that recently, Tall Tales (which is somehow involved in the Lego releases) uses SecuROM and it's a bitch to re-install these games. Other than that, I can't wait.
Anybody else?

What are these lego games all about? I'm afraid I know nothing about them other than the proprietary/franchise existence.

Oh god Digi - you'll have a blast. Go download the demo for Lego Star Wars II. You basically control little Lego Star Wars characters and run through the movie stories blasting everything to hell. When you destroy something/one, they explode into their respective Lego pieces, which you collect and redeem at the cantina for new characters, weapons, etc. In free play mode, you can switch between a dozen different characters. Some fly (Boba Fett), some use grappling guns to ascend/descend to various places in the level, the Jedi can use the Force to attack/move things, etc. Most all the characters have to build objects from piles of lego blocks at different points to progress through the levels (for which you also collect lego 'studs' to be redeemed at the cantina). It's just a blast and real easy to get into. I thought it would get monotonous after the first few levels, but they keep adding new puzzles, player combos, and it's really self-depreciating and spoofy in a kid-friendly way. Best fun I've had with a game in a long long time.

I loved the two Lego Star Wars titles, but I hope that the Indy and Batman games won't be more of exactly the same with a bit of a reskin only...

And Bad Taste and Eraserhead and Trainspotting and Salo or 120 Days of Sodom...

The Matrix?
(I just watched the trilogy last weekend and enjoyed it significantly more than I was expecting.)
Maybe a Lego game would be better than that terrible Path of Neo piece of shit.

That won't do. Matrix is a dark "existential" tale for more mature audience, while Star Wars, Indy and Batman have significant appeal for 8-12 year olds.

I know. Grade in marketing communication. Doesn't it suck?

Heh, Batman is promising batarangs and batbombs, and you also get to play as the bad guys
against the dynamic duo. Not sure about Indy, but the whip looks to be fun.
