The hood and cape are from Darth Maul (but they're generic pieces), the face is Luke Skywalker (a nice solemn face), the pants are plain black, and the torso/arms/hands are from a bad guy from the Aquazone line.
The torso is not meant to be accurate to Garrett's costume. The most accurate torso I could find without modification (based on the Thief 2 scouting orb Garrett model) came from the Ice Planet line, but the colors didn't work as well for my movie (white sleeves and blue hands). I wanted the hands to be more visible, so I used a torso with red hands. Red hands are appropriate for a Thief anyway. :D
Garrett also wears an arrow quiver. It's the oldest one in my collection and conveniently bent a bit from use, allowing it to fit over the cape better than it would otherwise.
I know you didn't need that much detail, but the point is that Garrett isn't specifically from one Lego set.

That's fantastic!
I love stop motion :)
And it looks like you got the lighting spot on....looks very Thiefish

It is possible to swap the hands with Lego men, though, isn't it?
I mean, they're not MEANT to come off, but if you tug 'em enough they will...

Extremely Awesome!!!!
PLEASE MAKE MORE!!! I hope you can "finish" the movie, perhaps a 10 or 20 minute jaunt?
That would be incredible, and if you're willing, I can add it to the bonus section of the FM DVDs for lots of people to enjoy over the coming months/years, plus I'd be willing to host the downloadable file for a while (I'm sure Jason and Dennis would also be very willing to help out in that arena as well)

Yeah, I used to do that a lot. I prefer not too if I don't have to, though, because it weakens the wrists if it's done too much. I would have done it, but I decided the torso I did end up using was good the way it was. Even if they're a little funny-looking, the red hands are good for visibility. With all the darkness, I wanted hand movements to be noticable.

I'm still working on it just about every day for the time being. Everyone's kind words on this board help keep me going, too, so thanks to everyone who's had good things to say!
I'm up to about 2 minutes total now, and I'm still working on the third scene (I'm doing scenes out of order based on inspiration--the current one is Garrett's entry to the mansion). I also have two more sets all built and waiting to be used. There aren't any pictures of them on my site yet. I have vague ideas for a bunch more scenes/sets that I'll get to eventually.
I'll probably add another clip some time soon, such as a segment from the third scene.

That would be awesome (the DVD and the hosting)! The DVD would be a good way for people to see the movie in hi-res (I'm making it at 1600x1200)(space permitting, of course). The hosting would be much appreciated, so I'll definitely talk to you about that later.
Btw, I know I don't post very often around here, but I do a lot of lurking (including several years before I registered). And damn, the Thief Community is a great bunch of people.

I didn't mean to imply that I had just discovered this fact.
Btw it's not done!
