I'm hoping mine is 99% delivered. I hate the uncertainty of Royal Mail...

It's interesting how everyone's gone from "The game's going to suck I guess I might get it when it's reduced..." to "WHEN WILL IT BE DONE I WANT TO PLAY NOW!"

When I played DXHR I was surprised that it actually
felt like Deus Ex. I wasn't expecting that. I was secretly wishing that the new Thief would surprise me in the same way, but it hasn't, and I don't think it will. Someone here described the levels more like a series of challenge rooms than big cohesive levels, and I agree with that. So far I'm reminded more of Mark Of The Ninja and the Batman games than classic Thief. That said, the stealth is certainly slick, enjoyable, and challenging. Stealth fans will get a lot out of this.

The game ran very choppy for me early on. I experimented with most of the settings and found that turning the textures down to Low did the trick. I've got it running smoothly at 1080p with everything but the textures at Medium, and my rig is kinda long in the tooth by this point.
RE: that comic. Is it available online somewhere? Or is it just available in the Master Thief edition?

DarkFate had it hosted yesterday, but it seems the link has been taken down, probably due to copyright issues.
I'm really enjoying my playthrough thus far, doing some smaller side missions around the city before taking on the second chapter. It's unbelievable how tactile they've made the game feel, with all the little sounds of Garrett's hands touching window frames and whatnot.
The audio propagation feels like something that'll be fixed by the next patch. It goes from great (hearing guards outside the building walk by a window near the street, and hearing distorted voices through doors) to voice clips playing out of nowhere inside your head. It's really inconsistent at times, but going by how good it is when the system works, I'm sure it'll be sorted out eventually.
Game runs pretty well on high with tessellation and SSAA dialed down to low, with the occasional stutter. Pity one can't seem to change the FOV when playing in eyefinity mode, though.

That's still me. I'm still going to wait until either a major price drop or a 75% off steam sale. More than likely I'm going to wait until both are in effect.
