This thread makes me happy, since A) I have a job B) I got into Uni C) I'm happily living with my GF for a while now.
A leads to uni friends most likely and B leads to not worrying about income. All I want to do atm is to get better with my sequencer and programs so I can get some kind of a quality standard for my drum'n'bass.

I have a ridiculously demanding work life at the moment and it sometimes throws my work/life balance out of whack, though I can't say that's true all the time and the fruits of my hard-earned labour are things like what's happening at the end of this week. I'm jetting off for a 4 week holiday in Europe book-ended by two stays in Dubai.
That said, I do have the following To Do list that's been hovering over me for some time - all of which are purely driven by the fact that as a busy worker bee and married father of two, I have fuck all time left.
1. Exercise.
Been feeling like this is something I've neglected for far too long and whilst I've been blessed with a relatively speedy metabolism, I'm definitely not feeling tip-top or in particularly good shape. And yes, I've seen the first signs of a paunch and it scares me.
2. Writing.
I've been reading screenplays almost exclusively for about a year or so now, been tinkering with one or two projects of my own but with no real concentration. I just need to focus and finish one up as a test case, hone it, get opinions and then use that test case to get a feel for where I'm at as a writer.
3. Learn to DI-F'in-Y.
There are some things that probably aren't terribly difficult to do that I'm incredibly lazy and non-interested in doing - that's why I do a well-paid white-collar job after all, to pay blue-collar types to do this shit for me! But really, there's no excuse for say... not getting off my arse and painting the chipped skirting around the house, but boy do I find plenty of them.
4. Learn more cooking techniques and skills.
I've been big on cooking for a couple of years now and I want to develop more skills - sauces, pasta, etc. Need to do some classes and just find the time to experiment in the kitchen, and also buy some gear to help do it.
5. Drink less.
As a result of that hectic work-life balance etc, I definitely enjoy a <strike>cleansing ale</strike> cocktail or <strike>glass</strike> bottle of red/white more often than I should. Feeds into #1, really.
Others that are less critical but still important:
6. Buy a House or decide whatever the fuck we're doing next 'cos we aren't staying here
As above.
7. Satisfy the wishes of my CEO and develop myself professionally
Looks like a stint at a business school overseas is in my somewhat immediate future. Watch this space, and watch it work against points 1 through 5 yet help deliver 6. Odd how that works.
Glad to say that since I bought my kindle I've managed to nail doing more reading, which would have been on this list a year ago -although I have to admit moving to the city which forced me to catch the train to work definitely helped get that as part of my routine again.
Also I spend pretty much my entire weekend with my family in some form or another, which is another thing I wanted to focus more on - as a result I hardly spend any time on the PC anymore (outside of work hours), rarely on IMs or the like, and never play games at all. :( on that last one, as I do wish I could sometimes but it doesn't rank enough to feature on the list above.
I make time for my fave TVs and occasionally movies (though I can't tell you the last time I've wanted to go, awful shit on these days).

I hear you on the house reno stuff, man we just had a major extension and renovation done, and it left the place in an absolute mess, no garden left, painting to be done everywhere, I almost go into the foetal position just thinking about it.
